In 2020, The Children’s Home partnered with the CATS mission in 2020. CATS serviced at-risk teens by accessing previously untapped potential and talent through the transformative power of the arts. The program equipped these young men and women with high school credits and transferable skills to promising careers after graduation.

Through the critical 21st-century skills of critical thinking, connecting, collaborating, creating, and communicating, CATS bridged the gap for hundreds of at-risk students by equipping them for career building entry level jobs or college upon graduating from high school.

CATS is a a very new addition to the array of services provided by The Children’s Home to our community. Stay tuned for more information as this unique program continues to develop. Leading the way to successful program integration is the CATS Advisory Council:

The Children’s Home: John Banchy, Pam McKie, Amanda Tipkemper, Joe Landers, Jacob Boehne

CATS: Clara Martin, Lee Carter, Amy Hanson, Laura Greene
